Sara Kash (Ruckdeschel)

Sara Kash (Ruckdeschel)

From Vivian Seyfert

“Sara founded and ran her own very successful business (Write Woman,  an all women operated computer supplies company). Along with her husband, Fred Ruckdeschel, Sara lived the last several years of her life in Romulus, NY, right on Cayuga Lake. Sara waged a valiant battle against cancer. Throughout her entire life (we became best friends beginning at 3 years) Sara was always a positive, delightful champion in everything she did. For many years she tutored and quietly supported the education numerous underprivileged teens. Her energy and infectious enthusiasm, along with her keen winsome humor remained woven into all her relationships and work to the very end. Above all, Sara was a loyal friend and a tremendously generous giver.”

Sara died October 21, 2002.

Thanks for posting this. Vivian.  I knew that Sara had passed, but nothing more.  I appreciate these insights and would have expected no less of her.

Sara was a friend in the best sense of the word and although not everyone got to know and appreciate her gentle kindness I'm sure she's left a lasting impression on those who did.  In a way, she was like her mother who passed on some time after her:  cheerful, thoughtful, tolerant and a liberal in a way that ment something, she never said an unkind or thoughtless word against anyone and successfully paced her way through life into a lovely human being.
